December 4th 2005 - fourth OSMC meet

The Fourth meeting took place today at noon at the Tap and Railway, West Moors.

The Tap and Railway gave us a friendly welcome and had reserved tables for us with Christmas helium balloons, which set the mood of nicely, especially after the crackers were distributed around the tables.

We had a telephone call from Salisbury Mini Club apologising for their absence and details of their treasure hunt on the 18th December.

Tony, AC Automotive kindly donated a raffle prize consisting of a MOT and service and George and Pam donated a bottle of wine.

The raffle was held - Andrea, Mark and Keirren won the first prize, Tony, Cas and Sam, George and Pam and Dave winning the other prizes.

The next meeting was decided to be held on the 8th January 2006 at The Hungry Poacher, on the A31.

Myself, George and Pam, Andrea, Mark, Keirren and his mate all went off for a short cruise around town - we were on a tight deadline and I hope I didn’t make the family late for their meeting?!? The cruise us from West Moors through Ferndown Town Centre and onto West Parley. Next place of placing was Winton and then onto Bournemouth Town Centre - past the Royal Bath and along the sea front. Time to make our way back, so onto the Wessex Way for one junction and then onto Charminster and down West Way returning to West Parley and Ferndown where we all headed off in our own direction. Not a bad run off the top of my head! Hopefully the others enjoyed it as much as I did!
